About Frodsham Transition Initiative...
The purpose of our Initiative is to help the community of Frodsham live a more sustainable way of life and to become happier and more resilient in the face of global uncertainties.
We as the Frodsham Transition Initiative (FTI) are linked with the wider UK national Transition Network. At committee level in Nov 2020 we agreed to use the working name of Climate Action Frodsham due to an agreed need for clarity over our objectives. |
The Transition Network is now a charitable organisation operating internationally, whose role is to inspire, encourage, connect, support and train communities as they self-organise around the Transition model, creating initiatives that rebuild resilience and reduce CO2 emissions.
Ultimately it’s about creating a healthy human culture, one that meets our needs for community, livelihoods and fun. |
Frodsham Transition Initiative is a community led process that helps Frodsham become stronger and happier.
It involves a community action programme to transition to a more sustainable lifestyle for the benefit of both present and future generations.
